Ventema, is the wine harvest in Santorini.
Preparations start in the first days of August with canaves ( wineries ) cleaning. The grapes are transported to the canaves and, depending on their color (white or black), we pour them into a separate press. Then they are pressed and stored in barrels. On the day that the press finishes, it becomes a big celebration.
Special, expressive, unique, difficult and demanding wines for those who are seeking flavors of history and origin. Wines of volcanic soil that nourish them.
